I opened the submit page of 40+ launch directories this month instead of trusting the listicles.
Toolfolio killed its free listing, $99. StartupRanking moved the dofollow link behind Premium, $99. DevHunt has no free option, $49. TAAFT $49. MicroLaunch $39 to skip the queue.
Still free and worth ten minutes: Crozdesk, AlternativeTo, Launching Next, SpacerrApps, PitchWall.
Open every submit page yourself. The prices moved.

Agreed, checking the submit page right before submitting is worth it. Free queues and dofollow rules seem to change every few weeks.

I built SendNoticeMail: $9 novelty certificates printed and anonymously mailed to US recipients. Today I started testing gift-curator outreach and owned social posts. The hypothesis: real mail makes an inside joke worth passing on. That is still unproven.
