Ellie: GLP-1 Taper & Maintain

Ellie is a companion app for the hardest part of a GLP-1 journey: keeping the weight off once the medication stops doing the holding.

Most GLP-1 apps are shot trackers. They log an injection and draw a weight line. Ellie is built for the moment after that, when insurance denies the refill, a prescriber agrees to try a lower dose, side effects win, or the last pen was months ago. On average, people regain about two thirds of the weight within a year of stopping. That average describes people with no plan.

Ellie is endpoint-agnostic on purpose. It works whether you stay on the medication indefinitely at a maintenance dose, step down to less, or come off entirely. The goal is never to get you off the drug. The goal is to hold your number wherever you and your prescriber decide to be.

What is inside:

Your After Plan. A week-by-week map built from your last dose and your specific medication, showing what happens to appetite as the drug clears, when the risk window peaks, and what to do in each phase. Grounded in published research and cited inside the app.

Food Noise SOS. A guided ten-minute protocol for the moment intrusive food thoughts return. It names what is happening, puts protein first, and gets you to the other side of the craving without eating it.

The Drift Alarm. You set your line. Ellie watches your seven-day average rather than this morning's number and tells you plainly whether you are holding, watching, or drifting. Catching four pounds early is a restart you never have to pay for.

The Muscle Floor. Protein targets calculated from your goal weight, plus strength sessions in twenty-two minutes. Twenty-five to forty percent of GLP-1 weight loss can be lean mass without countermeasures, and regain comes back preferentially as fat.

Medication Level. An estimate of how much medication is still on board, built from published half-life data. A planning number, not a clinical one.
