Stock research, intrinsic value, and smart-money tracking

Talval is an equity research platform for people who want to know what a business is worth before they buy it. It pulls the fundamentals out of regulatory filings and turns them into one clear verdict — undervalued, fairly valued, or overvalued — with the reasoning attached.
It covers over 1,000 companies across the US and Europe, recomputed daily.
Who it is for
Long-term investors who want an intrinsic value estimate before they act, rather than a price chart.
Dividend investors checking whether a payout is actually covered.
Anyone who follows what well-known institutional managers report owning.
What you get
Fair value and a verdict on any covered company, from an earnings-based model cross-checked against discounted cash flow, the Graham Number and analyst consensus.
Quality and economic moat scores built from ROIC, margins, capital efficiency and balance-sheet strength.
Free DCF and WACC calculators, pre-filled from filed figures, so you can change the assumptions and watch the answer move.
Superinvestor 13F holdings: 49 institutional managers, what each one bought and sold every quarter. Also published as a free CC BY dataset with its own DOI.
Dividend safety: yield, payout ratio, growth streak and cut risk.
Sector Ledger, which freezes monthly valuations on the record so our past calls can be checked rather than quietly revised.
A daily briefing and watchlist alerts when something reaches your value zone.
A free MCP server, so AI assistants can query the research directly.
How it works
Type a ticker. You get the fair-value range, where the price sits against it, the quality scores, and a bull and bear case in plain English. Then check whether institutional managers have been adding or trimming.
Pricing
Free to start: fair value and the verdict on any covered stock, the screeners, your watchlist and alerts. Premium and Pro add AI theses, deeper institutional data, unlimited PDF exports and a weekly review of your holdings. No card needed to begin.
Honest limits
Talval is an informational research tool, not investment advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Every figure is a model estimate and can be wrong or out of date.
We also publish our own studies on when signals work and when they do not. One of them scored 22,356 analyst rating changes and found the median upgrade beat the market 51.3% of the time over twelve months, which is close enough to a coin flip to be worth saying out loud.

Because apparently the internet needed one more.
