Solving the visibility problem for indie makers after launch 🚢

BuildDock helps indie makers solve one of the biggest challenges after launch: getting discovered. It’s a free cross-promotion network where SaaS, websites and side projects can showcase and promote each other, helping indie products gain visibility and reach new users.

Solving the visibility problem for indie makers after launch 🚢

Building a product is hard.

You have an idea, spend weeks or months working on it, fix countless bugs, polish the landing page, connect payments, write the documentation… and eventually, you finally hit Launch.

It feels like the finish line.

But for many indie makers, that's when another problem starts:

How do you get people to actually discover what you built?

Getting the first users can be surprisingly difficult. You can post on social media, launch on Product Hunt, submit to directories, write articles, join communities or spend money on ads — but none of these guarantee that the right people will find your project.

And this is especially frustrating when you know the product is useful. The problem isn't necessarily the product.

It's visibility.

That's the problem I wanted to tackle with BuildDock.

BuildDock is a free cross-promotion network built for indie makers, SaaS founders and people launching projects on the internet.

The idea is simple: instead of every indie project trying to get attention completely on its own, why not help each other get discovered?

With a small widget, projects in the BuildDock network can showcase other projects to their visitors. In return, their own project can be discovered across the network.

The more the network grows, the more opportunities there are for interesting projects to reach people who would otherwise never find them.

The goal isn't to replace Product Hunt, social media or SEO.

It's to add another distribution channel — one specifically designed around indies helping indies.
