LocalBG - Local Background Remover

I’ve been building software for the past 5+ years, everything from automation tools to bots and browser extensions, but recently I decided to focus on actually shipping a real product.

That’s how LocalBG started.

LocalBG is a fully offline AI tool for removing backgrounds from images, videos, and GIFs. You select a folder, and it processes everything automatically on your machine, no uploads, no internet, no credits, and no limits.

I built it after seeing how expensive cloud-based background removal services become at scale. Most tools charge per image, which quickly adds up.

What started as a simple wrapper around rembg evolved into a full workflow tool for bulk processing and creative work.
